About The EastShore Chorale
The EastShore Chorale is a non-sectarian, intergenerational community choir based in Regent Square, Pittsburgh. As part of Eastman Community Projects, a non-profit that focuses communities on becoming more art-centric, the choir seeks to uplift and enrich the community through the performance of a wide range of music, and to provide an opportunity for people to contribute to Pittsburgh’s thriving arts scene.
Founded in 2018 by artist-designer John Eastman, and directed since its inception by Ben Filippone, the choir continues to strive for ever higher levels of artistry, attract talent from across the city, and to make a lasting positive impact on its members as they hone their singing skills together and forge new friendships.
