Qigong is a practice that encourages the circulation of “qi” or life energy. In this class we will utilize gentle movements and stretching, acupressure, breath awareness and visualization to encourage the flow of qi.
Based in Taoist Five Element Theory, this style of qigong highlights the dynamic relationship between yin (organizing, receptive, cooling) and yang (animating, expressive, warming).
Through persistent effort we can strengthen our connection to the rhythms of nature and optimize our functionality.
